APPOINTMENT OF VIRGINIE VIARD TO THE HAUTE COUTURE STUDIO

Virginie Viard is named Director of the CHANEL Haute Couture Studio where she is responsible for the embroidery department. Two years later, she also takes over the Ready-to-Wear Studio. She joined the CHANEL Creation Studio as an intern in 1987.

OPENING OF FINE JEWELRY BOUTIQUE AT 18 PLACE VENDÔME

On November 18th 1997, the mansion at 18 place Vendôme is inaugurated. The 18 PLACE VENDÔME collection was presented for the opening of this beautiful new site devoted entirely to the Watches and Fine Jewelry collections.
